Kate was onsite at the Eureka Park™ Marketplace exhibit, which featured almost two hundred campaigners Indiegogo had taken “from concept to market”, as their website says.
Unlike some other platforms, Indiegogo has flexible crowdfunding. They don’t require participants to reach a goal amount, in order to get crowdfunded.
As of today’s date, their website says contributors have raised more than $641,000 for more than 1,400 campaigns.
And Kate knows, firsthand, what makes a successful campaign. She is co-founder and CMO of her own startup, The Can Van–crowdfunded through Indiegogo!
Kate shared the story of this unique platform, the do’s and don’ts for a successful crowdfunding campaign, and a look at their new program, Equity Offerings.
