As with any good convention, the challenge, with ScareLA, is the choice. They had film screenings, live theatre, previews of upcoming Halloween attractions and new ones in Southern California, AND haunts, new this year–all at the same time. These “Terror Trucks” are just outside The Reef. Proprietor Lee said “Cold Storage” was more of a classic Hollyw00d-style haunt, while “Buried Alive” played on everyone’s fears. Having explored the latter, it is not for the faint of heart–literally or figuratively–and Lee’s description is very accurate!
And, of course, there was the exhibit floor–with too many cool things to name here. You’ll just have to come scouting tomorrow, for ScareLA’s final day of their second Los Angeles convention.
An added incentive? Tomorrow, their Main Stage features a presentation on “Halloween at the Magic Castle”–AND Universal Studios previews this year’s “Halloween Horror Nights” early tomorrow afternoon!
