An attempt at a new Guinness World Record? Scary.
It should also be a lot of fun, as ScareLA adds Halloween candy to the mix, in another week.
As the third edition of ScareLA, Southern California’s first Halloween convention, creeps into its new Pasadena Convention Center venue next weekend, one of the brand-new events on the schedule is a Saturday Guinness World Record Event. It’s a chance to “make history and get candy”, as Sticky Candy brings 1,000 bags of candy to ScareLA attendees, who will attempt to open them all at the same time.
“Anybody can participate, if they’re capable of opening up candy,” ScareLA PR dark wizard Crystal Bryan emails us, with a smile.
Want to be a part of this fun event–and very possibly scare your dentist into next week? Here’s the link for tickets! (Note: you must have a ticket to ScareLA summer Halloween convention, to participate.)
ScareLA and Sticky’s “Halloween Candy Guinness World Record” happens at 5:30, Saturday evening, August 8, during Day 1 of ScareLA 2015 at Pasadena Convention Center. Participation in this special event is free with admission to ScareLA.
(Haven’t got your ScareLA ticket yet? Some general-admission and “Monster Weekend” tickets still show “available” on their website.)
