As Creative Producer of Two Bit Circus, Josh uses imagination, technology and his background producing live events to create some seriously cool experiences.
And this upcoming Tuesday, June 4th, if you’re in Los Angeles, you can be a part of Two Bit Circus’s creative process. They’ll be hosting “Beta Night”–and you’re invited to come and play some of the new games they’re showcasing!
Since Two Bit Circus’s Micro Amusement Park opened, in September 2018, they’ve wowed visitors with a brand-new type of entertainment. Think “carnival meets community center meets twenty-first century”, and you’ll be on the right track.
Virtual reality escape rooms, completely interactive “game shows”, re-imagined video games make no two guest experiences alike.
There’s also a constant stream of new content. Two Bit Circus works with independent game creators, local performers and educators to keep everything growing and evolving.
During Make It In LA’s recent MakerWalk LA 2019, Josh escorted visitors through the Two Bit Circus Micro Amusement Park. He told the group about some brand-new features and ways they’re continuing to innovate “the future of fun”.
After the tour, we had the opportunity to talk briefly about what’s happening at Two Bit Circus–and what you can expect to see on Beta Night!
On this edition of Over Coffee®, you will hear:
-
How Josh first began his career with Two Bit Circus;
-
What his experiences were like, during his first days of working with the team;
-
What’s new at the Micro Amusement Park since it opened, nine months ago;
-
A good creative lesson Josh and the team learned, from observing visitors’ responses while adding new content and events;
-
What visitors can see and experience, if they attend Beta Night on June 4th (hint: there’s something brand-new, 100% designed in-house!).
