Green Festivals President Dr. Corinna Basler says that besides being socially responsible, “green” living is fun.

This weekend, you’ll get to experience that, as the Green Festival arrives in Los Angeles.

Green Festival, which is the nation’s largest and longest-running sustainability event, starts at noon today at the Los Angeles Convention Center and runs from now through Sunday.   Part exhibition and part conference, the Green Festival includes speakers, workshops , family activities, crafts and some of the latest “green” technology.   Following the Los Angeles dates, Green Festival has a three-day show scheduled in Chicago next month, and one in San Francisco in November.

Dr. Basler, who became the new President of Green Festivals in February, talked about her background, offered a preview of Los Angeles Green Festival events and shared her vision for Green Festivals’ future.
