The Green Festival, the nation’s largest and longest-running sustainability event, opened its first three-day event at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Friday, with a mix of creativity, mindfulness and networking.
As the Green Festival continues today and tomorrow in L.A., visitors can expect to see more than two hundred fifty “green” exhibitors. Festival program tracks include Business and Technology, with presentations on topics including green transportation and social change, and Home and Community, where speakers’ scheduled presentations include “Celebrating Our Natural Beauty” and “Building Leadership in Sustainable Development”. There will be a Family Fun Area, sponsored by Children’s Defense Alliance, and an all-levels yoga pavilion, as the Los Angeles Green Festival opens at ten this morning.
