The way he gained that knowledge, is what makes him unique.
Max grew up helping to run his father’s carnival, in Texas. Today, he runs an online business, The Midway Marketplace, on which he helps people buy, sell and trade equipment for the amusement industry.
In his new e-book, Leading You Out of the Darkness Into the Light, Max applies his own entrepreneurial experiences to help readers achieve their goals. In addition to advice and workable exercises, his book has an unusual interactive element, aimed at getting his audience to put principles into practice.
Max, who is totally blind, also operates a blog, The Blind Blogger, and offers classes and group coaching. “Most people who are successful, are that way because they have help…I can be that person for you,” he says, on his website. (And, he recently lost more than 260 pounds–so his next book will be about living a more healthy lifestyle!)
Max talked about his carnival background, his own journey as an entrepreneur and some of the principles behind his new e-book, Leading You Out of the Darkness Into the Light: A Blind Man’s Inspirational Guide to Success.

Hi Dot; I thoroughly enjoyed our talk. And I love this post. If i weren’t me I’d want to listen for sure. maybe more people should look at their lives and accomplishments as if it isn’t them. we are all either to critical or too complementary of ourselves. looking forward to hearing other people’s thoughts. thanks so much for having me on, max
What a wonderful interview! Great questions and answers. Very entertaining! Thanks Dot and Max!
