That was part of one conversation as dozens of people attended tonight’s Grand Opening of Urban Workshop, the new 5500-square-foot “maker space” facility in Irvine,.
Visitors toured a facility that enables members to create just about anything–and includes a 3-D printer, wood shop, metal shop, electrical engineering area and etching equipment. However, those terms seem like an understatement.
Perhaps a more accurate description requires pictures like this one–of the CNC (computer numeric control) router that was carving designs into wood.
