“Have fun,” advises TribeXR Community Manager and DJ mentor Lee Chernowetz.
Lee, who is an award-winning multimedia producer and professional DJ, is speaking from experience.
And he’s talking about what works best, as TribeXR participants learn to DJ and perform live in the metaverse.
“If you’re having fun, the audience is going to have fun too,” Lee explains.
Technically, TribeXR is an application which allows users to learn to DJ in virtual reality.
But it’s much more than that.
TribeXR’s platform includes free daily workshops, taught by professional mentors, on building or sharpening DJ skills. There’s also a performance hub in the works, on which DJs can not only perform, but collaborate with fellow artists all over the world.
In addition, there’s a full Tribe Community. And TribeXR has been involved in outreach to nonprofits and schools, as they spark the imagination of the next generation of artists.
Lee–a/k/a DJ TSICKLE–first learned his skills through TribeXR. We talked about how the platform works, as Lee shared some of his expertise on mixing and offered a preview of what’s next.
