For the first time, their popular conference will be entirely virtual. And the contest focuses on a new audience: everyone who may need to use immersive technology in the future.
In other words, everyone.
Another first? Access to the three-day conference is free.
And it’s going to be unlike any other conference.
As of today, more than 200 speakers and exhibitors are confirmed. More than 50,000 attendees have received invitations. The virtual format will allow for networking, and collaboration, with attendees all over the world.
Spanning three time zones, the conference will offer blocks of content in areas including fashion, art, education, aerospace and agriculture. “Speed dating online”, listed on the conference website as “the best business networking of its kind”, will be available. Product announcements will occur in real time, and special events are on the agenda. Some of those will be in VR.
However, you don’t have to have a VR headset to participate. The show will be livestreamed.
