in 2016.\u00a0 Since then, the company has expanded, adding augmented and mixed reality to their immersive-content offerings.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16216\" src=\"http:\/\/twomaverix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Prosper-XR-sign1.jpg\" alt=\"Prosper XR sign in gold lights on VRLA 2018 convention floor\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/twomaverix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Prosper-XR-sign1.jpg 600w, https:\/\/twomaverix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Prosper-XR-sign1-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In early May, at VRLA 2018, the world&#8217;s largest immersive-technology festival, Prosper XR debuted three new rovers they&#8217;d created.\u00a0 These were designed to facilitate immersive content creation.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16217\" src=\"http:\/\/twomaverix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Prosper-XR-flying-saucer1.jpg\" alt=\"Prosper XR augmented reality app overlays a flying saucer on a city scene\" width=\"600\" height=\"453\" srcset=\"https:\/\/twomaverix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Prosper-XR-flying-saucer1.jpg 600w, https:\/\/twomaverix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Prosper-XR-flying-saucer1-300x227.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Prosper XR&#8217;s\u00a0 exhibit space at the Los Angeles Convention Center also gave visitors an opportunity to experience their brand-new augmented-reality app.<\/p>\n<p>And during VRLA, Jessie, who is one of the co-founders of\u00a0 nonprofit <a href=\"http:\/\/thexralliance.com\/\">The XR Alliance<\/a>, introduced a Storytelling Panel of industry pioneers in VR, AR and mixed reality. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The panel served to launch XR Alliance&#8217;s brand-new competition, created with the goal of empowering new creative talent.<\/p>\n<p>(That competition is happening this summer!\u00a0 The deadline for submissions is August 15th, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/thexralliance.com\/\">The XR Alliance&#8217;s website<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>Jessie talked about her background in virtual, augmented and mixed reality, shared the story of creating Prosper XR and explained the details of this summer&#8217;s competition.<\/p>\n<h5>On this edition of Over Coffee\u00ae, you&#8217;ll hear:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5>How Jessie first became interested in creating immersive content;<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>The story of Prosper VR;<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>What Jessie came to realize about the direction in which immersive media is heading, from her previous work and speaking engagements;<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>What the early days were like for Jessie and her co-founder, after starting their VR company;<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Some of the early projects and &#8220;firsts&#8221;
